Even the most boring details of life can become interesting if you put them in a blog... right?

What I did yesterday.

Apparently some of you are a bit anxious for a new blog entry. So instead of doing productive things, like laundry, I will tell you what I did yesterday.
I went with Juhi and Paul to a Ryukyu glass factory! Here you can see some photos of my introduction to glass blowing.

Next, we went to a concert of traditional music/dance. The musicians on the right are playing the sanshin, koto, and flute. And some of the men are singing. The guy in the middle of the stage (at least I think it's a guy....) is walking around reeaaaallly sloooowwwly.....

I have a video of this concert, but I can't figure out how to upload it. You'll just have to make do with a photo.

After the concert, we played on a playground for a little bit. These ball swing things were really hard to get on since they were about 4 feet off the ground. Was this designed for kids?

Ok blog readers- happy now? You know how I have been spending my time, and I made sure to take photos for you.

I really want to go to the glass blowing factory. It looks like fun. But what are you wearing on your hands?

maybe that's how they get the japanese children to stretch, by putting their swings up really high?

looks like a rough life... :)
