Where's the spider? Where????

Last week I was standing in my apartment building's parking lot, looking at the sky for no good reason. And I noticed that there was a massive spider's web at the top of the building. MASSIVE!! And in the web was a disgustingly large spider. I'm not sure how big it was since it was pretty far away, but I am positive that it was a good deal bigger than my hand.

Maybe this was the spider that made a web connecting my car to a tree when I went away for the weekend. This web was so big that I had to climb in on the passenger side of the car.

But back to the issue at hand. Where is the spider?? Over the weekend, there was a bit of a typhoon. It seems the wind damaged the large web near the top of my apartment building. So now where is the spider? For the past few days, I have been feeling like I walk into a new web each day. Some days my mailbox is webbed shut. Some days I almost walk face first into a web on the stairs. Where is this massive spider?? When will I come across it next?

I bet you are wondering what this spider looks like. Here is a picture I took from inside my car. This is probably one of Mega Spider's babies. I made sure to put my finger in the photograph so you have some idea of how big the spider is. YUCK.

I do not miss that. Not one bit... Just start spraying toxic chemicals all over just in case. I hope your baby geckos are up to a big meal.

Amy, this is scarier than the big bugs. And if this is a baby, how big is the momma? Actually, I don't want to know.
Love,
Mom
