Butterflies and Monkeys

Rachel came to visit this weekend, and we decided to take advantage of the lovely weather to do some sightseeing outdoors. We went to the butterfly park. There were many butterflies.

Some of them sat on my head.

We also saw some monkeys. Aren't they cute? I want one.

And the weather really was lovely. It's so hot here! Someone actually asked me today if I was hot because I was wearing long sleeves. It's almost December!! I should be wearing a winter coat, not short sleeves! I assured this woman that I was indeed hot, but I was wearing long sleeves as protection against mosquitos. Because in Okinawa, even in the winter, there are still mosquitos.
