Snowman in a Bowl

It snowed in Maryland last week! There was only about an inch of accumulation, but it was enough to entertain the kiddies. The little girl who lives across the street from my parents made a mini snowman. Then she gave it to my father as a present. The snowman now lives in my parents' refrigerator.

You know you've been living in Asia too long when...

you start to believe your students when they say you have yellow eyes. My eyes were brown in the United States! Wait, they do look a bit yellow, don't they?

And is my hair actually golden instead of dark brown? Why do colors change overseas????

And was it a bad idea to put the flash so close to my eye??
